About Team Cassiebug

Cassidy has Cystic Fibrosis, a life-threatening genetic disease that impacts every part of her life. On May 17th, 2008, Cassidy will turn 4 years old. That same day, people all over the U.S. will take part in the Great Strides walk, a fund raising effort by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Team Cassiebug, and Cassidy, will be there walking as well. We are walking to raise money to find a cure because without one, Cassidy faces an uncertain future filled with hospitals, medicine and lots of struggles. Only half of all CF patients will see their 37th birthday.

100% of all money raised through these auctions will be donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to fund research and desperately needed programs to help CF patients. Please help add more tomorrows to Cassidy's life and the lives of so many others! For more info about CF visit http://www.cff.org.

About The Artist
Four Tails Lampwork is a one-woman, three-cat, and one Corgi craft studio in steamy Atlanta, Georgia. When Andrea began working in paper, and then in glass, she had four cats, all of whom insisted that she could not make anything creative without their input. Although she has only three of the Four Tails now (one, Mr. Rochester, happily lives in Washington State), the name stuck. Andrea hand-crafts all her beads and jewelry with her trusty Piranha torch. She has been lampworking for nearly two years, and, while she specializes in organics, she is more than a little bit dilettantish and willing to try anything! About The Artist
Amy's first attempt at French Beading happened when she decided to make small bouquets for her bridesmaids to hold throughout the ceremony at her wedding. After a few weeks of trials and tribulations, she finally got it down. They turned out so beautiful that she decided they would make a wonderful bridesmaid ‘gift’ as well. They were unique and definitely made with love. Shortly after, with the encouragement of friends, Amy branched out into making other items – pins and barrettes.
